Engineered Equipment for Every Stage

From feedstock shredding at the front of a biogas plant, through intake screening and aeration in a treatment line, to the pump moving it all — the full Point range, with the specifications our engineering team sizes against.

01 — Biogas pre-processing

What Comes Before Digestion

Waste isn’t always ready for digestion. Foreign matter, packaging, fibrous materials, inconsistent particle sizes, and variable moisture content all affect feeding, digestion efficiency, and biogas output. This range exists to solve exactly that — preparing waste for better digestion, higher yield, and more reliable operation.

Chain-fed hopper and cutting chamber of the grass and straw shredder

High-fibre feedstock

Napier Grass Shredder

Efficiently shreds high-fibre organic materials like Napier grass, rice straw, and corn stalks — feedstocks that would otherwise resist breakdown and slow digestion. Purpose-built for agricultural and high-biomass applications.

Full specifications
PMI series macerator with integrated motor and same-size inlet and outlet flanges

Homogenizing

Macerator

Homogenizes organic waste for efficient handling — breaking down mixed and inconsistent material into a uniform slurry that moves reliably through pumping and digestion stages.

Full specifications
Submersible mixer with three-blade self-cleaning propeller and stainless steel motor housing

In-digester

Agitators

Maintain homogeneous conditions throughout the process, preventing sedimentation and settling that would otherwise reduce digester efficiency and biogas output.

Full specifications
Dry waste cruncher — motor, gear housing and twin-shaft cutting chamber

Dry waste

Cruncher — Dry Waste

Reduces organic waste into a consistent particle size for efficient downstream processing, complementing the wet-waste shredding and maceration range for sites handling mixed dry and wet feedstock.

Site-engineered plant

Customized Biogas Plant

A custom-engineered, site-constructed biogas plant built around your feedstock, capacity, site conditions and output requirements — for projects a packaged unit can't size to.

Full specifications

Every feedstock needs a different combination of this equipment — a distillery residue and a poultry manure stream won’t be pre-processed the same way. Our engineering team assesses your waste characteristics — fibre content, moisture, particle size, contamination — before recommending a line, rather than selling a fixed package.

02 — STP / ETP equipment

Every Stage of Treatment

A treatment line runs from screening at the intake, through surface clean-up, mixing and aeration, to clear-water recovery and solids handling. Each piece below is sized against your channel width, tank depth, and treatment capacity — not sold as a one-size-fits-all package.

Intake screening

Rotary Rake Bar Screen Machine

Used in intake channels of urban sewage plants, waterworks, and stormwater drainage to automatically intercept and remove floating debris, protecting downstream processes. Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between the Cutter, Grinder and Chopper ranges?

Cutter Pumps (PC) use stationary and rotating cutters for fibrous and hard material; Grinder Pumps (PG) are built for similar solid- and fibre-laden sewage; Chopper (PCC) and Chopper Grinder (PCG) handle oversized solids and stringy material at higher flow and head, with the PCG specifically suited to biogas feedstock transfer.

Can I buy individual equipment without a full plant?

Yes. Point supplies standalone pre-processing and treatment equipment for sites that already have digestion or treatment infrastructure, or are upgrading an existing system — as well as retrofits of aerators, mixers, and decanting pumps into existing plants.

Which aerator suits my tank?

Jet Aerators use the venturi-nozzle principle and suit small-to-medium sewage plants up to 6 m depth; Radial Aerators are self-aspirating and install easily even in a flooded tank; Push Flow Aerators combine fine-bubble aeration with mixing and circulation, and suit ponds, lakes, and landscape water rather than industrial tanks.

How do you size a bar screen or aerator for our site?

Sizing is based on your channel width, tank depth, and flow or treatment capacity. Our engineering team assesses these before recommending a model — bar screens alone span 800 mm to 3000 mm channel widths with grid gaps from 10 mm to 100 mm.

Can pumps be customized for corrosive applications?

Yes — impellers and casings are available in graded steels for special applications across several series, including the PS, PC, PG, and PA ranges.

Do these work with third-party plants?

The pre-processing range is designed to improve feedstock quality ahead of any digestion system, and the treatment range supports both new builds and retrofits into existing infrastructure. Talk to our team about compatibility with your existing setup.
