Portable Biogas Plant

Packaged Biogas Plant

A ready-built, packaged plant that converts daily food waste into usable biogas and organic manure — sized for homes, hostels, hotels, canteens, apartments, institutions and commercial kitchens. Nine capacity models across two ranges, from a 20 kg/day household unit to a 500 kg/day institutional plant, without a custom civil build.

What it’s for

How It Works

Food waste is fed into the inlet chamber along with water. Inside the digester tank, anaerobic bacteria break down the organic waste and generate biogas, which can be used for cooking, heating or other energy applications, while the slurry outlet produces nutrient-rich organic manure.

The Portable range (PB-2.5 to PB-20) ships as a compact, self-contained unit for a single kitchen or household. The At-Site range (PB-50 to PB-500) scales the same process up for hostels, institutions and larger commercial kitchens, built at the location rather than delivered fully assembled.

Every plant is engineered for safe, reliable operation, with the design tailored to the feedstock, capacity and output required. Premium digesters, biogas purification and gas compression systems are delivered as a turnkey project — installation, commissioning and technical support included — on robust, precision-engineered equipment built for long service, from a team with long experience designing and manufacturing industrial biogas plants.

Construction

How It’s Built

Digester tank on legs, from the 5 m³ plant layout
01 Digester tank Anaerobic bacteria break the food waste down here and give off biogas.
Purification filters piped along the back wall, from the 5 m³ plant layout
02 Purification filters Clean the raw biogas before it is stored and used.
Feed table at the inlet, from the 5 m³ plant layout
03 Feed station Food waste and water go in at the inlet.
Stacked gas holder, from the 5 m³ plant layout
04 Gas holder Holds the cleaned gas until it is used for cooking, heating or other energy needs.

Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What size plant do we need?

Sizing follows your daily waste volume in kilograms — nine models across the Portable and At-Site ranges span 20 to 500 kg/day. Tell us your volume and we'll match it to a model.

What can the biogas be used for?

Cooking, heating, or other energy applications — the digester also produces nutrient-rich organic manure through the slurry outlet.

What's the difference between Portable and At-Site?

Portable (PB-2.5 to PB-20) is a compact, self-contained unit for a single kitchen or household. At-Site (PB-50 to PB-500) scales the same process up and is built at the location, for hostels, institutions and larger commercial kitchens.
