What it’s for
Technological innovation, leading smart living.
CD 1000 is the top of the domestic range. Its 750 W motor reaches up to 1080 W instantaneously, so tougher scraps don’t slow it down, and nine levels of grinding take them down fine enough to flush away.
An intelligent management system adjusts the power to the load, troubleshoots itself and keeps energy use down. The grinding system is full stainless steel, with SS 304 impeller, cutter blades and shaft.

Applications
Where It’s Specified
Fitted under the kitchen sink to an 80 mm sink flange, it takes scraps as they’re scraped off plates and chopping boards, so food waste never sits in a bin.
For restaurant, hotel and canteen kitchens, the Tabletop series mounts on a work sink and the Standalone series stands on its own, 300 to 1500 kg/hr.
Common questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Will it fit under my kitchen sink?
CD 1000 mounts to a sink with an 80 mm sink flange. It stands 355 mm tall under the sink, and its 45 mm outlet pipe connects to the drain.
What does the intelligent management system do?
It adjusts the motor’s power automatically, troubleshoots itself, and keeps the disposer running energy-efficiently. With instantaneous power up to 1080 W from a 750 W motor, it keeps processing efficiency high.
How is it different from CD 750?
It’s the top of the domestic range: 1400 ml against CD 750’s 1200 ml, nine-level grinding against six-stage, a full stainless steel grinding system against Bakelite, and a 1 HP adjustable DC motor with the intelligent management system against a 0.75 HP PMDC motor.
How is it switched on?
Either with an air switch or with direct electrification on a 240 V / 50 Hz supply.
What about a commercial kitchen?
For restaurant, hotel and canteen kitchens, the Tabletop series and Standalone series handle 300 to 1500 kg/hr.
