Overview
One Construction Standard, Every Duty
Point provides high-performance pumping solutions for wastewater management, industrial processes, and water infrastructure. Our systems are engineered for reliability, efficiency, and long-term operational performance — covering drainage, sewage, slurry, chopper, grinder, cutter, aeration, decanting, multistage, and pressure-boosting applications, all built on the same construction standards.

Our pump range
From Drainage to Pressure Boosting
Drainage, sewage, slurry, cutter, grinder, chopper, aeration, decanting, multistage and boosting — every series built on the same construction standards, and each one sized to your flow, head and what the liquid carries.
Drainage
Drainage water and effluent in residential, commercial and industrial applications — grey water and effluent with soft solids up to 20 mm, up to 100 m³/hr and 30 m head, 1 to 10 HP at 2880 rpm.
Sewage & Slurry
Sewage, sludge, effluent and surface water mixed with solid or fibrous material — up to 800 m³/hr, 45 m head and 270 mm particles. Where solids settle, the agitator slurry pump stirs them back into suspension for transfer, in mining and power plants.
Cutting, Grinding & Chopping
Cutter and grinder pumps take fibrous and hard material on cutters hardened to 55–60 HRC, up to 300 m³/hr; chopper and chopper grinder pumps handle oversized solids and stringy material up to 1000 m³/hr — the chopper grinder built for biogas feedstock.
High Discharge
Sewage, sludge and effluent at large-scale flow — up to 3000 m³/hr and 40 m head, with solids up to 100 mm, 20 to 100 HP.
Treatment Plants
Aerators for tank mixing, oxygenation and circulation; the decanting pump for clear-water recovery, with automatic level adjustment and turbidity-based shutoff; and the horizontal open well pump for treated and utility water, up to 45 m³/hr and 35 m.
Pressure & Boosting
Horizontal multistage pumps for higher head at lower flow, 0.5 to 2.5 HP; and pressure booster sets for apartments, bungalows, car washing and geysers — up to 6 m³/hr and 60 m, for 1 to 9 bathrooms.
Installation
The auto-coupling system connects and disconnects a submersible pump from its piping just by lifting it up and down — no flanges to unbolt and no sump entry, for 2” to 12” pipe.
Why Point pumps
Construction You Can Rely On
Built for always-on duty. Not intermittent light use.
Our sewage pump range is built with CI / GG20 casings and impellers (SS options and graded steels available for special applications), SS431 / 1.4057 and SS420 / 1.4021 shafts, and mechanical seals in carbon / ceramic / SIC / TC combinations. Standard protection is IP68, insulation is Class F, and duty rating is S1 (continuous) across the range — engineered for demanding, always-on operating conditions rather than intermittent light-duty use.

Applications
Wastewater management, industrial processes and water infrastructure — from a basement drainage pit to a municipal pumping station.
Common questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Cutter Pumps (PC Series) use stationary and rotating cutters for fibrous and hard material; Grinder Pumps (PG Series) are built for similar solid- and fibre-laden sewage; Chopper Pumps (PCC Series) and Chopper Grinder Pumps (PCG Series) handle oversized solids and stringy material at higher flow and head ranges, with the PCG Series specifically suited to biogas feedstock transfer.
Yes — impellers and casings are available in graded steels for special applications across several series, including the PS, PC, PG, and PA ranges.
It removes the need for sump entry and flange bolting or unbolting during pump removal or installation — the pump can be lifted directly out via chain, reducing maintenance time and risk. See the Auto-Coupling System.
Yes — our range supports both new plant builds and retrofits into existing pump stations or treatment systems.
