What it’s for
A neat and clean kitchen. Happy household, happier family.
CD 500 sits under the kitchen sink and takes food scraps straight from it. Heavy-duty blades grind them in seconds through a three-layer grinding system, and running water flushes what’s left down the drain — no bin of food waste waiting by the sink, and nothing for flies or smells.
The grinding chamber and hopper are LM6 aluminium alloy, with stainless steel (SS 304) teeth ring, impeller and shaft and SS 420 cutter blades, driven by a 0.5 HP PMDC motor. It switches on with an air switch or directly.
Construction
How It’s Built
Aluminium alloy where it holds the waste, stainless steel wherever it grinds — the material specification from the catalogue, part by part.

Applications
Where It’s Specified
Fitted under the kitchen sink to an 80 mm sink flange, it takes scraps as they’re scraped off plates and chopping boards, so food waste never sits in a bin.
For restaurant, hotel and canteen kitchens, the Tabletop series mounts on a work sink and the Standalone series stands on its own, 300 to 1500 kg/hr.
Common questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Will it fit under my kitchen sink?
CD 500 mounts to a sink with an 80 mm sink flange. It stands 380 mm tall under the sink, and its 38 mm outlet pipe connects to the drain.
How is it switched on?
Either with an air switch or with direct electrification on a 240 V / 50 Hz supply — whichever suits your kitchen.
Where does the ground waste go?
Down the drain. The blades grind the scraps in seconds and running water flushes them away, so no food waste is left waiting in a bin — leaving the kitchen clean, dust free, germ free and odour free.
What if I need more capacity?
For a bigger household, the CD 750 (1200 ml, 0.75 HP, six-stage grinding) and CD 1000 (1400 ml, 1 HP, nine-level grinding) step up from CD 500’s 1000 ml. For restaurant, hotel and canteen kitchens, the Tabletop series and Standalone series handle 300 to 1500 kg/hr.
